I recently trained with MaternityWise International, and I am searching for three families who would like postpartum doula support at a reduced price so I can complete my certification. (If you would also like a labor/birth doula, I will be working toward that certification, as well, so you can absolutely combine services).
Postpartum Doula-in-Training
Daytime Visits Only
$25/hour (minimum 4 hours)
Twin Support: $35/hour (minimum 4 hours)
**Available to 3 families. After certification, prices will look different.
What does a postpartum doula do?
A postpartum doula provides education and support (non-medical) to new parents after childbirth. She can offer:
Customized, In-Home Baby Education
Newborn Sleep Assistance
Assist in "Greening" Home for Baby
Informational & Emotional Support
In-Home Breastfeeding Support
Postpartum Birth Experience Counseling
Light Housekeeping; Laundry, Dishes
Nutritious Meal Planning and Prep
Cesarean Recovery Support
Multiples Care and Education Sibling Assistance
…and so much more, as needed!
A postpartum doula can help facilitate the birthing person's recovery by giving them the rest they need to recover fully so they can be at their best to take care of their new little one. A postpartum doula helps the whole family adjust to your new family member.
